Press Release
Tactical Communications Group (TCG) is the leading independent worldwide provider of tactical data link software solutions that allow military operating and training units, government testing organizations and prime defense contractors to quickly achieve better connectivity and capability at the tactical edge. By creating cost effective, integrated tactical communications solutions, warfighters in the air and on the ground can now exchange real-time tactical information and share a common operating picture for improved operational coordination, situation awareness and mission effectiveness.
Tactical data links (TDLs) are standardized, highly structured communication links used by the military for the transmission and exchange of tactical data among joint and coalition partners. Tactical data link communications are also at the center of all military command and control systems today. While TDL-based solutions offers a means of secure communications, TDL standards are highly complex and constantly evolving, and TDL solutions need to interoperate across platforms, service branches, and even international boundaries. TCG’s powerful, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) TDL software solutions minimize the time and effort required to build, integrate, test, train and deploy effective and affordable military communications systems.
As one of the fastest growing privately-held software companies serving the global military community, TCG delivers a complete portfolio of TDL software solutions to over 80 organizations around the world including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and various defense organizations and system integrators worldwide.
In addition to best-in-class software solutions, TCG also delivers expert training, software support, and world-class services both through TCG Global Services and a partner ecosystem–so you get the maximum value and return on investment from your TDL infrastructure investment. Our integrated approach to product development and customer service is one of the keys to our global success.
